About the Role
As a Regulatory Toxicologist within the Product Safety and Compliance Department, you will support regulatory toxicology assessments, interpret global regulatory requirements (with a particular focus on REACH), and manage toxicology-related compliance inquiries.
This is a highly cross‑functional role, working closely with teams across R&D, commercial, procurement, supply chain, and legal to ensure product safety and regulatory excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee human, environmental, and physico‑chemical testing projects with third‑party laboratories.
- Analyse and interpret new data for submission to global regulatory agencies.
- Contribute to the development and execution of product defence and risk assessment strategies.
- Monitor regulatory and toxicology updates relevant to business operations.
- Present scientific and regulatory findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s or PhD in Toxicology, Pharmacology, Industrial/Environmental Health Sciences, or a related biological science.
- 3+ years’ experience in regulatory toxicology within the chemical, pharmaceutical, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of toxicology principles and global regulatory frameworks, including REACH.
- Experience with systems such as IUCLID and CHESAR.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
