Team Lead – Global Talent Acquisition at Elevate

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with lawyers and bankers on high-profile matters, advising through the full lifecycle of transactions and collaborating across a broad range of financing products.

Start Date: November 2025

Duration: 6 months (initial term)

Commitment: Full-time

Location: London (5 days in-office)

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on large-cap leveraged finance transactions, from NDAs through to commitment papers, long-form documentation, distribution, and related enquiries.
  • Support the real estate finance team on loan documentation and transaction-specific queries.
  • Provide legal support across other areas of lending, including investment grade, general corporate, and markets lending transactions (with training provided where needed).
  • Negotiate client-facing loan documentation and liaise with external counsel.
  • Deliver legal advice to business stakeholders and functional partners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the DCM Lending Legal team.
  • Independently manage a significant volume of transactions and client queries in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Law degree and admission to practice in England & Wales (must meet all relevant licensing requirements prior to commencement).
  • Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification experience in leveraged finance, ideally gained at a leading law firm or in-house.
  • Experience with large-cap acquisition finance transactions is essential; real estate finance exposure is desirable but not required.
  • Strong background in drafting and negotiating contracts, reviewing legal documentation, and delivering concise legal analysis.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also taking ownership of matters independently.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and results-driven.
