Litigation Solicitor – Motor Claims

A leading legal business is seeking a Solicitor with experience in litigated motor claims to join its expanding General Insurance team. The successful candidate will be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow, with the option of a hybrid working arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of litigated motor claims, ensuring efficient case progression
• Working closely with clients to understand requirements and align with service level agreements
• Prioritising workload effectively and maintaining high standards of case management
• Building and maintaining strong internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Continuously developing technical and commercial expertise

What You Need to Succeed

• Post-qualification experience in motor litigation, including motor claims, accidents, and fraud (3+ PQE)
• Experience handling a busy and varied caseload within a commercial legal environment
• Strong technical knowledge, analytical ability, and understanding of case law
• Ability to adapt, learn new skills, and work independently within a supportive team
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
