Commercial Solicitor – London

A highly regarded law practice is looking to recruit a Commercial Solicitor (5+ PQE) into its commercial team, as part of continued strategic growth.

This role offers exposure to high-value, complex transactions and the opportunity to work directly with decision-makers across owner‑managed businesses, SMEs and private equity‑backed companies. You’ll be trusted with client relationships, involved early in deal strategy, and encouraged to play a visible role in the firm’s ongoing commercial success.

The opportunity:

• Advising on a broad range of commercial matters including M&A, investments, shareholder and joint venture agreements, group restructures and commercial contracts.
• Leading transactions from instruction through to completions.
• Acting as a key adviser to clients, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused solutions.
• Supporting and developing junior lawyers within the team.
• Contributing to business development, cross‑selling and relationship growth.

About you:

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with 5+ years’ PQE in commercial law.
• Strong deal experience with the confidence to run matters independently.
• Commercially driven, solutions‑focused and comfortable engaging at board level.
• Motivated to grow your practice within a progressive, market‑facing firm.
