Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer – Data Centres - Building Services

This role is to join a highly regarded data centre company. Upon joining you will be part of a diverse team of design specialists, all supporting one another in their specialist capacities.

Responsibilities

• Production of designs and calculations under the direction of senior engineers
• Design of mechanical systems for data centre projects globally.
• Work within a diverse team of mechanical engineers who are located both in the UK and abroad.
• Attending site surveys on large data centre facilities in the UK.
• Using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) and BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design the systems required for each project.
• Undertaking duties as indicated by team manager to obtain experience and training in mechanical engineering

Qualifications

• MEng / BEng Mechanical Engineering or Building Services
• It is essential that you have degree modules related to building services such as thermal dynamics in buildings, heating and cooling load calcs, heat transfer or knowledge of IES
• This employer is unable to provide via sponsorship; you must be eligible to work in the UK now and in the future without sponsorship
