We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Crane Engineer to join their well-established team in Greater Manchester. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a modern fleet of cranes and lifting equipment, combining depot-based and site-based work to support a variety of projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of lifting equipment, cranes, and heavy machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations and maintain detailed service records.
  • Work collaboratively with the transport and operations teams to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise to support the safe and efficient use of machinery across multiple projects.
  • Adhere to and promote health and safety protocols at all times, whether at the depot or on-site.

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in maintaining and repairing lifting equipment, cranes, or heavy machinery.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems related to construction equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on safety standards.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills and the ability to work independently when required.
  • Relevant certifications such as CPCS, CITB, or equivalent qualifications are advantageous.
