Network & DevOps Security Consultant (Contract) – London | Outside IR35

We’re looking for a skilled Network & DevOps Security Consultant to join a high-impact contract project in London. This role is outside IR35 and offers the chance to work on both traditional network security and modern DevOps/Cloud environments.

About the Role

As a Network & DevOps Security Consultant, you will:

• Assess and secure network infrastructures and cloud environments
• Implement and manage firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, and other network security controls
• Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations for remediation and risk mitigation
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to improve overall security posture
• Proven experience in network security consulting
• Hands‑on knowledge of firewalls, VPNs, and network infrastructure
• Experience with DevOps security: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation
• Familiarity with vendors such as Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar
• Strong communication and client‑facing skills
• London‑based and able to work on‑site as needed
