Senior/Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer – Outside of IR35
Join Kent as a Senior/Principal Control & Instrumentation Engineer handling concept, pre‑FEED and FEED projects in Oil & Gas, Offshore Wind and Low‑Carbon sectors.
Scope of Work
- Control & Instrumentation design reports for concept, pre‑FEED and FEED stages
- Reviewed and approved Control & Instrumentation specifications and datasheets
- Vendor technical evaluation reports
- Provide input and assistance for project progress tracking and reporting
- Contribution to multi‑discipline engineering reports
- Execute assigned tasks and work areas as directed by the Lead or Principal Engineer
- Verify compliance with client specifications and recommend cost‑effective solutions within defined requirements
Key Requirements
- All queries should be directed to the client’s designated technical authority
- Instrument and Control or Electrical Engineering degree (honours or equivalent) or other relevant engineering discipline
- Chartered status (or working towards) is considered advantageous
- Communication will be via agreed channels without day‑to‑day supervision
