Overview
Engineer - Core Banking - Engineering Lead - SAP Integration and Data Publishing role at Nationwide Building Society. Lead a diverse engineering team focused on the SAP Fioneer Banking ecosystem with API and HANA integration as part of the SAP-based ecosystem transformation.
What you’ll do
- Lead engineering on SAP Banking Services technology stack; drive integration design and data publishing capabilities.
- Collaborate with product and business teams; translate technology into strategy for senior stakeholders.
- Mentor engineers; foster a culture of practical, elegant solutions.
- Contribute to architecture and design principles; ensure scalable, maintainable systems.
About you
- Experience with large-scale, complex systems and integrations on SAP Banking Services technology stack
- Expert on SAP Process Integration, SAP Object Oriented ABAP, ABAP on HANA and RestFul ABAP Programming
- Understanding of SAP Event driven architecture and roadmap
- Hands on experience on software architecture and design principles
- Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, that cut through complexity
- A natural leader and mentor who brings the best in others
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, translating tech into strategy
