Junior Reliability Engineer

At Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team, reliability is at the heart of performance. We are seeking a Junior Reliability Engineer to join our high-performing team and contribute to the safety, legality and reliability of our cars. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with multiple departments, learning from experienced engineers while supporting fault tracking, and data monitoring across race, test and dyno events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in documenting and tracking reliability issues across race, test and dyno events.
• Support root cause investigations and containment actions under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to reliability meetings, ensuring proactive preparation and follow-up.
• Monitor car systems during sessions using established data tools, escalating anomalies as appropriate.
• Maintain and update reliability databases, fault logs and reporting tools.
• Liaise with design, race engineering and operations teams to gather data for reliability assessments.
• Participate in pre-event planning and post-event reviews to identify risks and build mitigation strategies.
• Commit to continuous learning, developing knowledge of systems, processes and reliability methodologies.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

• Degree-level education (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
• Working knowledge of Atlas 9/10 and Catia 3DX advantageous.
• Experience or awareness of FMEA (Failure Mode & Effects Analysis) is desirable.
• Strong motivation, with the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Calm, confident decision-making skills with a focus on results.
• Collaborative and adaptable, with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety.
