Senior PR Executive

We are looking to hire a creative minded, results orientated, Senior PR Executive, to work closely with our co-founders and fantastic teams across both our businesses.

Hanson Search is a leading, global headhunting business in marketing and PR and The Work Crowd is an award winning, global community of the best PR and Marketing freelancers that we connect to project based work.

This is a hands-on role – helping to develop creative concepts and strategy and then implementing them. Written content will play a significant part of the role, as will developing live events, round tables, webinars, and PR & communications both internally and externally to help drive commercial objectives. Promoting diversity in the workplace – in particular gender and race, is an important part of the role.

The ideal candidate would need to be a proactive individual who can work in a standalone environment to deadlines. Someone who can take the lead in raising the businesses profiles and those of the senior management team, who is passionate about championing diversity, has an interest in talent, business & current affairs, and who will throw themselves headfirst into the challenge.

Purpose of Job:

• Support in developing our communications strategy in line with commercial goals
• Develop a range of content for various media and social channels
• Ensure the website is kept up to date and driving leads into the business
• Raise the brands profiles through various media platforms and events
• Big focus on championing diversity across both businesses
• Ensure the businesses are recognised as thought leaders
• Ensure uniformity on social challenges for everyone in the businesses

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in either a PR agency or in-house communications team – either B2B or B2C, or in an editorial team from a media business
• Proven experience with balancing different stakeholders and driving successful campaigns either inhouse or in a PR or Communications agency
• Excellent academic background
• Experienced with writing long and short content
