SAP Security & Integration Consultant – 6 Months assignment, Outside IR35
Bestman Solutions is hiring a SAP Security & Integration Consultant to lead a critical ERP security programme for a global enterprise in the midst of a complex post-merger integration.
SAP is the organisation’s core operational system, supporting multiple key business functions. The company is working to integrate several ERP systems following a recent acquisition, creating a challenging and high-priority security environment.
We’re seeking someone with proven experience leading cybersecurity programmes during mergers and acquisitions in large, matrixed organisations — ideally within FTSE 100/250 or similar multinational enterprises.
Responsibilities:
- Audit the current SAP security environment and identify gaps or risks.
- Lead the secure integration of multiple ERP systems into SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
- Design and implement robust SAP security architecture, access controls, and governance models.
- Recommend and deploy effective SAP security monitoring and threat detection tools.
- Collaborate closely with architecture, delivery, and security teams across both organisations.
- Ensure compliance with best-practice SAP security standards and support ongoing operational readiness.
Qualifications:
- Deep expertise in SAP architecture and end-to-end SAP security, including S/4HANA Cloud.
- Proven experience delivering secure ERP integrations in complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP role design, authorisations, SoD, and identity management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP security monitoring tools and frameworks.
- Comfortable leading security reviews and engaging across technical and business teams.
- UK-based, with the ability to attend on-site workshops and collaborate in a hybrid model.
