Overview

Join to apply for the Content Acquisition Manager role at Pubity Group.

Pubity Group is the world’s largest Gen-Z social publisher, with over 150 million followers and billions of monthly views across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Snapchat. Our brands – including Pubity and Memezar – define what’s trending, from breaking news to viral moments. We create, acquire, and publish highly engaging content across a wide range of verticals, reaching a global audience with stories that matter to youth culture. As we continue scaling our social operations, we’re looking for a Content Research Manager to lead the discovery and acquisition of high-performing UGC content for our Facebook brands.

This is a strategic and operational role — perfect for someone with deep platform experience, excellent communication skills, and a sharp eye for high-engagement video content. You’ll support the Social Video Manager by overseeing junior editors and optimising internal processes to ensure scalable, rights-safe content workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the discovery, rights clearance, and editorial packaging of high-impact UGC video content for all Facebook channels
  • Manage direct outreach to content owners and maintain a high response and conversion rate across global contributors
  • Ensure all content is legally cleared, with thorough copyright, IP, and usage rights confirmed, in line with internal protocols
  • Supervise day-to-day tasks of junior team members and support team development
  • Use editorial judgement to identify content that aligns with brand tone, audience interests, and platform performance trends
  • Collaborate with the internal video editing team by storyboarding and briefing edits for licensed content
  • Support and help improve scalable workflows for sourcing, reviewing, tagging, and publishing approved videos
  • Maintain an organised and trackable pipeline of content submissions, rights requests, and usage records
  • Compile daily and weekly performance reports on acquired content, including engagement data, conversions, and KPIs
  • Stay up to date with platform trends, Facebook best practices, and compliance risks across international publishing markets

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in content licensing, social publishing, rights acquisition, or UGC video editorial
  • Exceptional understanding of Facebook video content, platform standards, and audience preferences
  • Proven understanding of copyright, fair use, and content licensing frameworks, particularly in digital media
  • Strong communicator across email, phone, and messaging platforms — capable of securing content rights quickly and clearly
  • Team leadership qualities with experience delegating tasks, mentoring, and helping structure effective workflows
  • Highly organised with experience using performance tools and editorial trackers
  • Editorially sharp — able to spot and act on content that will perform across multiple audience types
  • Confident briefing creative teams and giving clear feedback
  • Comfortable in a high-output, reactive publishing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Meta Business Suite
  • Experience storyboarding UGC content for social video editors
  • Familiarity with international copyright nuances and digital media compliance
  • A keen eye for what’s trending across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Reddit

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary + bonus
  • Opportunity to work within a fast-scaling, culture-shaping social media business
  • Collaborative, high-growth environment with space to lead and innovate

At Pubity Group, we are committed to diversity and inclusion. We believe in fostering a workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive, and we encourage applicants from all backgrounds to apply.
