Ocean City Bids is recruiting for Bid Manager for a leading Social Enterprise. Our client combines commercial efficiency with a social mission, having reinvested over £4.5m into charitable causes over the past decade.

Reporting to the Director of Bids, this is predominantly a writing role, focused on high-quality delivery rather than bid and process management.

The Role:

You will lead the end-to-end development of winning proposals for a diverse portfolio of NHS and Local Authority services, including community health, specialist clinics, and social care.

  • Bid Writing: Craft high-quality, persuasive narratives for complex healthcare tenders. Approximately 75% of the role involves bid writing.
  • SME Engagement: Tease out technical information from Subject Matter Experts and translate it into compelling win themes.
  • Project Management: Own the bid lifecycle, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Content Strategy: Maintain a high-quality bid library and contribute to service design and commercial modelling.

Requirements
