We are pleased to be partnering with a leading Fintech Bank to recruit a Procurement Manager into a pivotal role within the organisation. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring the effective sourcing, negotiation, and management of goods and services to support business objectives.
This role will have a strong focus on IT procurement, professional services, and supplier relationship management, operating within a highly regulated financial services environment.
You will lead the sourcing and management of IT procurement, including hardware, software, and services. This includes evaluating emerging technologies, understanding market trends, and delivering cost‑effective solutions aligned with the organisation’s strategic goals.
You will have significant experience procuring and managing Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions, with responsibility for contract negotiation, service level agreements (SLAs), renewals, and ongoing supplier performance.

This will involve developing and executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and delivering measurable value across all categories.
You will negotiate complex contracts, including the drafting and review of commercial terms and legal clauses. A strong understanding of risk allocation, compliance requirements, and mitigation strategies is essential to protect the organisation’s interests.
You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen, with the ability to assess and compare commercial models, analyse financial data, and use market intelligence to drive cost optimisation and informed decision‑making.
The role requires excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across the business at all levels. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, presenting business cases, influencing decision‑making, and balancing competing priorities in a collaborative and professional manner.
You will implement and maintain effective supplier relationship management strategies, including supplier segmentation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to drive value, innovation, and long‑term partnerships.
You will ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant regulatory and governance requirements, including SYSC 8, PRA 22/1, PRA 22/2, GDPR, and the Consumer Duty Act. You will play a key role in mitigating risk and maintaining high standards of compliance and control.
