Technical Manager – Residential Developer – London
My client is a residential developer who specialises in new build developments in both traditional build and reinforced concrete schemes. They are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator/Project Architect to step into a Technical Manager position working from their London office.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical and design team.
- Manage full working drawing packages.
- Collaborate with architectural team to deliver on-time packages.
- Liaise with commercial and production teams during development.
Qualifications
- 7+ years residential developer experience on multiple new build projects.
- Strong knowledge of development/technical design process.
- Experience with RC frame and timber frame schemes.
- Ability to question and query design information across disciplines.
- Architectural background; AutoCAD proficiency beneficial.
- Understanding of statutory requirements (Building Regs, NHBC Standards, Sustainability).
- Skill to interrogate design and programme, identify critical paths.
- Degree level or relevant professional qualification.
- Excellent communication across all disciplines and levels.
- Organisation and people management skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Team player with effective communication.
- Capacity to liaise with commercial and production teams throughout development.
Salary up to £70,000 plus package (pension, healthcare, bonuses, holiday).
