Responsibilities
- Leading a skilled operations team across air, road, and multimodal shipments.
- Overseeing urgent AOG and high-value movements end-to-end.
- Acting as the key escalation point—ensuring 24/7 operational readiness.
- Managing workflow, planning, compliance and operational controls.
- Working closely with commercial teams on routing and solutions.
- Negotiating with carriers, handlers and hauliers to optimise cost and service.
- Tracking KPIs and supporting senior leadership with reporting and planning.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years in air freight, aviation logistics, AOG or time-critical operations.
- Experience leading an operations team.
- Deep understanding of air freight, road freight, customs and airline processes.
- Ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure.
- Customer-first mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with freight management systems (e.g., BoxTop or similar).
