Strategic Sourcing Manager, Global Corporate Procurement

Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive sourcing projects for contingent workforce and temporary staffing categories.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights on market trends, rate benchmarks, supplier strategies, and compliance requirements.
- Drive commercial excellence in engagements involving MSP and VMS platforms (e.g., Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY).
- Analyze complex datasets to identify cost optimization opportunities and enhance supplier performance.
- Manage competitive tender processes, evaluate proposals with cross-functional teams, and negotiate favorable commercial terms.
- Draft and structure contracts tailored to client needs, with minimal legal support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Support category planning and sourcing strategies through market intelligence.
- Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge-sharing across the organization.
Your profile
- University degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in contingent workforce procurement, staffing supplier management, or within an MSP/VMS environment.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and European staffing markets, commercial models, and compliance frameworks (e.g., co‑employment, IR35, mark‑up structures).
- Hands‑on experience with VMS platforms such as Fieldglass, Beeline, or VNDLY.
- Proven ability to lead sourcing initiatives, negotiate contracts, and influence senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced, multi‑client environments.
