Marks Sattin Executive Search is working with a highly entrepreneurial, PE‑backed multisite hospitality group in central London to appoint a Chief Operating Officer. This is a pivotal leadership role with significant influence over the future direction of the business, with clear long‑term progression potential. Working closely with the CEO, the COO will help shape strategy, elevate performance, and drive the next phase of growth.
The COO will take full responsibility for day‑to‑day operations across product, marketing, sales, property, and revenue management. The focus is on strengthening execution, improving site performance, and ensuring a consistently high‑quality, guest‑focused experience. You will lead and develop teams, drive accountability, and embed a culture of high standards and operational discipline.
The COO will also play a key role in shaping and executing the growth and marketing strategy. This includes identifying new opportunities, supporting site expansion, and ensuring the brand resonates with both existing and new customers. Protecting the distinctive character, atmosphere, and premium positioning of each venue will be essential as the business scales.
This opportunity suits an established COO or a commercially minded CFO ready to step into a broader operational leadership role within a dynamic, fast‑growing environment.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience as an operational leader within a PE-Backed business, ideally within multisite hospitality setting.
- Proven track record of improving operational performance across multiple locations
- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to balance growth, profitability, and guest experience
- Demonstrated success in scaling teams, building capability, and driving accountability
- Hands‑on, people‑centred leadership style with the ability to inspire and influence at all levels
- Comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, fast‑moving environment while bringing structure and operational rigour
