Responsibilities
- As a Senior Associate in this well-respected team, you will handle a broad range of employment matters, with a particular focus on employer-side advisory and contentious work. You will be advising clients across multiple industries on complex employment law issues, including:
- Employee relations and HR advisory work
- Tribunal and High Court litigation
- TUPE and outsourcing arrangements
- Employment aspects of corporate transactions (M&A)
- Drafting employment contracts, policies, and procedures
- Advising senior executives on termination, settlement agreements, and restrictive covenants
- With strong business development skills, you will also play a key role in building client relationships and contributing to the team’s continued success.

Qualifications
- 5-8 years’ PQE (flexibility for exceptional candidates)
- Experience in a City firm or a leading national/regional practice
- Strong technical expertise in employment law, including contentious and non-contentious matters
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills
- Business development acumen with the ability to nurture client relationships
- Commercial awareness and the ability to deliver pragmatic solutions
- A collaborative and proactive approach to working in a team environment
Desirable experience
- TUPE transfers and outsourcing arrangements
- Employment agencies and worker status issues
- Business immigration (sponsorship compliance, right to work checks)
- Pensions-related employment issues
