Supply Cover Supervisor – Doncaster

About the Role
As a Supply Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom during short-term or planned teacher absences, supervising pupils and ensuring learning continues smoothly. You’ll deliver pre-set work, manage behaviour, and maintain a positive and focused classroom environment across a range of secondary subjects.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise whole classes using pre-prepared lesson materials
- Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged throughout the lesson

- Provide support and guidance to pupils where appropriate
- Communicate effectively with teaching staff and senior leaders
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
Candidate Requirements
- A degree or equivalent qualification (essential)
- Confident classroom presence and the ability to manage behaviour
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Flexible, reliable and professional approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with secondary‑aged pupils
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
