With increasing workloads and continued growth forecast across Somerset, Dorset and Hampshire, we require an experienced Contracts Manager to join our Yeovil management Team. The successful candidate needs to be a team player, understand current processes and bring new ideas to add and assist on our continued success and development.
Competitive salary offered along with company vehicle.
About the Role:
- Responsibility for contracts managing on projects from 5K – 600K
- Experience in pricing and producing quotes / tenders
- Close liaison with the clients and customers
- Adhering to and implementing site Health and Safety
- Writing and checking method statements and risk assessments
- Direct and sub-contractor management and resourcing
- Producing contract RAMs and CPPs as required
About the Candidate:
- Experience in planned, refurbishment and development type contracts
- Must have excellent construction knowledge
- Must be self-motivated as well as a motivator
- Must have SMSTS, first aid and CSCS card
- Competent in risk assessments and method statements
- Compliant in H+S procedures and CDM
- Excellant communicator
- Excellent rates of pay
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- 28 days holiday (includes bank and public holidays)
- Annual Christmas shutdown
