We’re looking for Telugu language specialists passionate about phonetics, syntax, morphology, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, and language acquisition. You will challenge language models on topics like verb conjugation, noun declension, sentence structure, idiomatic expressions, regional dialects, cultural references, and honorifics—documenting errors to improve model reasoning.
On a typical day, you will converse with the model on language scenarios, verify factual accuracy, capture error traces, and suggest improvements to prompts and evaluation metrics.
A master’s or PhD in Telugu language, linguistics, or related fields is ideal; peer-reviewed publications, teaching, or linguistic analysis projects are a plus. Clear, detailed communication—"showing your work"—is essential.

We offer a pay range of $8 to $65 per hour, determined by experience, expertise, and location. Final rates may vary. As a contractor, you’ll provide a secure computer and high-speed internet; benefits like health insurance and PTO do not apply.
