Job Description

As part of Mars’ ongoing transformation, we’re launching an enterprise-wide S/4HANA program across Petcare, Snacking, Food, and Corporate segments. This is more than a system upgrade—it’s a business-led digital transformation, focused on simplifying and harmonising processes across eight core areas, including Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales, HR, R&D, and Marketing.

About the role

Job Level: Technical Leadership-T2

The QFS Senior Technical Analyst plays a critical role in driving the successful implementation and design of S4 Hana and critical Edge systems to support Outbound Traceability & Incident Management needs. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the alignment of Q&FS capability design with organisational goals, translating business needs into technical solutions, and supporting the delivery of new capabilities.

What are we looking for?

• Extensive hands-on SAP experience (configuration, delivery, post-go-live) across QM and Logistics.
• Multiple full lifecycle SAP implementations (preferably including S/4 Hana and GBT).
• Deep functional knowledge of Quality Management & Logistics processes.
• Ability to assess the impact of changes on stakeholders and develop strategies to mitigate resistance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex organisational dynamics to achieve project goals.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design of Incident Management and Traceability core requirements in S4 Hana, collaborating with third-party partners, while adopting the Clean Core principle.
• Undertaking Impact Analysis and defining options for solving technical and functional challenges.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs, ensuring alignment with Digital Core goals and Q&FS standards.
• Working with SI partners to translate business requirements into technical specifications and designing solutions.
• Validating architectural design and facilitating conversations with other technology teams.
• Coordinating activities with other Mars DT teams for interface development.
• Developing test plans, conducting user acceptance testing, and ensuring quality standards.
• Defining criteria for new capability deployment and overseeing their completion.
• Supporting the Mars Digital Technologies program lead in setting priorities for the Enterprise Transformation Program.
• Creating and completing deployment documentation.

The base pay range at the start is USD 65,271.00 - USD 89,747.00, with variations depending on individual factors. The total compensation includes variable pay, benefits, 401k participation, and paid time off. Location-specific details are provided in the job posting.
