BIM / Clash Detection Manager
Criterion Capital is seeking a BIM / Clash Detection Manager to lead the development, coordination and implementation of BIM workflows across the project lifecycle. This newly created role will unify and enhance digital design, clash detection and information management processes to support efficient delivery, robust decision‑making and high‑quality project outcomes.
Working closely with internal development, technical and construction teams – and external designers and contractors – the BIM / Clash Detection Manager will drive ISO 19650‑aligned standards, streamline model coordination and improve data consistency across all projects. You will play a pivotal role in setting up BIM execution processes, managing multidisciplinary clash‑detection reviews, and ensuring projects meet the required level of digital compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead BIM strategy, standards and templates for Criterion Capital, aligned with ISO 19650.
- Oversee BIM coordination across all active projects, ensuring consistent information management and model quality.
- Manage and execute clash detection processes, including model audits, federated model reviews and issue tracking.
- Support project teams and external consultants with BIM set‑up, model structuring, naming conventions and workflows.
- Provide training, guidance and technical support to internal teams on BIM tools and procedures.
- Monitor digital delivery performance and identify improvements in drawing standards, data structure, component libraries and model workflows.
- Contribute to project delivery on key schemes, ensuring BIM requirements and Level 2 processes are embedded from concept to handover.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a BIM Manager, BIM Lead, Senior BIM Coordinator or Digital Engineering Lead within architecture, design, engineering or construction.
- Strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards and BIM Level 2 delivery.
- Ability to develop, implement and embed BIM strategy and governance across multiple projects and teams.
- Excellent knowledge of modern digital tools (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360/ACC, modeling and auditing plug‑ins).
- Strong communication skills with the capability to coordinate across multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
