Job Description

Location: Wokingham, UK (hybrid 2/3 days a week in the office)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable React.js code.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and code reviews.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
• Develop and implement front‑end architecture to support user interface concepts.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Integrate front‑end components with server‑side logic.
• Collaborate with back‑end developers to integrate APIs and other services.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug application issues in a timely manner.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience with React.js and its core principles, React Hooks, React Context, including popular React.js workflows (such as Redux).
• Familiarity with modern front‑end build pipelines and tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks and optimization techniques.
• Experience with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Knowledge of Micro‑frontends architecture.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
