Responsibilities

• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics based on model interactions.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Swahili language, linguistics, or a closely related field.
• Peer‑reviewed publications, translation experience, or hands‑on linguistic analysis projects signal fit.
• Clear, metacognitive communication – “showing your work” – is essential.

Compensation

Pay range of $8–$65 per hour, determined after evaluating experience, expertise, and geographic location. As a contractor you’ll supply a secure computer and high‑speed internet; company‑sponsored benefits such as health insurance and PTO do not apply.
