Location: This role is intended to be based in Tunisia, with regular travel across the African continent, but this can only happen once HALO are registered in the country. Registration is expected early in 2026, but any delays to this could impact the temporary location of this role.

Salary: £36,855 per annum

About the role:

HALO is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Weapons and Ammunition Management (WAM) projects across North Africa, and to coordinate the delivery of a US Department of State (USDoS) funded training and research project with partners across the African continent. The role will manage multiple workstreams, including training workshop facilitation and open-source research coordination, ensuring smooth project delivery. The Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in implementing all aspects of the USDoS project, with support and oversight from the Regional Project Manager (PjM) and in collaboration with internal HALO stakeholders and external partners.

While leading on coordination of the USDoS project, this role will enable exposure to other WAM workstreams thematically and geographically. Based in Tunisia with required travel to east and west Africa, the position will at times be required to deputise for the PjM and contribute to UNODA-funded activities in Libya and NATO-funded activities in Tunisia, as well as wider regional business development.
