PHP Developer (Fully Remote)
Overview
Our client is a well-established yet thriving SaaS company within the automotive industry, renowned for its commitment to employee development, progression, and financial recognition. With a strong focus on training and long-term career growth, the company boasts an excellent tenure among its teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a cloud-based business management system that supports the automotive sector.
- Maintain and improve an established stock control, CRM, and order processing system used by hundreds of clients across the UK.
- Collaborate closely with the existing development team
- Assist with the modernisation of legacy code, ensuring stability while preparing the system for future enhancements.
- Contribute to long-term strategic improvements, including the potential AI integration.
Technical Requirements
- Experience working with MySQL for database management.
- Familiarity with procedural PHP, though some object-oriented programming (OOP) experience is advantageous.
- Prior experience developing API integrations, with knowledge of external system connections and data flow between platforms.
