Senior Platform Engineer (AWS)

Senior Platform Engineer – Permanent – £85,000 to £90,000 plus car allowance & bonus

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior AWS Platform Engineer to join a leading company. Working on an AWS/Terraform/Jenkins tech stack, you will be responsible for designing & implementing solutions across the company.

This is a hybrid role with travel to their office needed twice a week.

What you will be doing:

• Build and deploy integrated systems using infrastructure as code techniques using Terraform
• Provide technical leadership & mentor other engineers
• Drive the adoption of best practices in infrastructure management and automation
• Implement automation with open source technology, and assist in improving software reliability, release management and integration testing
• Assist with operational support and engineering for large distributed software applications

What they are looking for:

• Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer/Platform Engineer
• Experience working with AWS, Terraform, Jenkins & Docker
• Experience with Kubernetes/ECS/EKS
