Intellect Group is partnering with an innovative leader in AI-driven healthcare solutions and longevity research to recruit a talented Backend & Frontend Developer. This pioneering organization is at the forefront of a groundbreaking initiative studying longevity markers in a unique population.
This position, due to the nature of the project, is looking for a Full Stack Django Developer from the UK to relocate to Sardinia in Italy for the full duration of the project.
The Project
This initiative combines wearable technology, AI, and precision medicine to understand longevity factors in Sardinia's “Blue Zone” region. As a developer, you will contribute to a sophisticated platform designed to:
- Process biometric data
- Manage clinical trials
- Implement advanced AI models for aging analysis

Required Skills
- Production experience with Django
- 5+ years of Python programming with strong OOP principles
- Microservices architecture design and implementation
- API development and integration
- Expertise with PostgreSQL databases
- Docker containerization
- LLM/Agents integration and development experience
- Familiarity with:
- RAG, GraphRAG implementations
- LangChain ecosystem (LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith)
- Django templates and Django HTML
- HTMX
- SCSS/CSS
- Web optimization and SEO best practices
- Proven experience in commercial software development
- Strong version control with Git/GitHub
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary, international team
- Experience with:
- Automated testing
- CI/CD practices
