AI Engineer

AI Engineer (Remote, UK) – Agentic – LLM, RAG, Applied AI – Outside IR35

Peaple Talent has partnered with a tech consultancy that is expanding its AI practice and is sourcing an AI Engineer/ML Engineer to work with a financial services client on enterprise-scale AI systems.

In this client‑facing consulting role you will be responsible for AI transformation for the end client, working on multiple projects related to:

• RAG, LLM, MLOps
• MLflow, Vertex AI and Hugging Face
• NLP with LangChain
• Python
• Agentic AI

Responsibilities include consulting on AI strategy, designing and deploying AI solutions, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and occasionally travelling to London offices for on‑site meetings.

Initial contract length: 3 months, with a strong possibility of extension given the pipeline of work and additional projects.

Key requirements:

• Strong academic foundation and applied AI experience
• Hands‑on experience with RAG, LLM, MLOps, MLflow, Vertex AI, Hugging Face, LangChain, Python
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients

Employment type: Contract | Seniority level: Mid‑Senior | Industry: IT Services & IT Consulting | Working hours: 5 days a week, 7‑8 hours per day | Location: Remote (UK) with occasional on‑site meetings in London | Salary: £500–£600 per day (outside IR35)
