Lead Principal Consultant – Government, Defence & Security

Location: Hereford(Hybrid)

Clearance: Developed Vetting (DV)

We’re seeking a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to help drive the design, delivery, and maintenance of secure, robust systems. Ideal for those with experience in security-cleared environments, Linux engineering, and building reliable, secure platforms.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain Kubernetes stacks with secure-by-design compliance.
• Update and maintain platform software, libraries, and dependencies.
• Set up and manage Spark clusters, including migrations to new platforms.
• Manage user accounts and permissions across identity platforms.
• Maintain the Delta Lake and ensure platform-wide security standards.
• Collaborate with the wider team to advise on system design and delivery.

What we’re looking for

• Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and scripting (Python, Bash).
• Experience managing air-gapped networks and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with HPC environments.
• Knowledge of security, encryption, and compliance standards.
