Senior C# Developer – Endur Transition | Commodities Trading House

A hands‑on Senior C# Developer is required for a global trading company operating across energy, chemicals, metals, machinery, infrastructure, food, and financial services. With a strong footprint in energy trading, this client is highly active in the procurement, distribution, and investment of oil, natural gas, LNG, and renewables. They are looking to bring someone on who is keen on learning and picking up on Endur for their ETRM systems.

This C# Developer role will focus on building, enhancing, and optimising the company’s Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platform. You’ll be designing and implementing new solutions within Endur, driving product onboarding, configuration, extensions, and integration across the end‑to‑end trade lifecycle for a variety of commodities.

The client has a significant backlog of products to onboard, so they are looking for a developer who can deliver immediate impact — coding, configuring, and optimising Endur to ensure scalability and performance when upgrading from version 18 to 25.

As a C# Developer focusing on Endur, you’ll work closely with business users, analysts, and other technologists to deliver solutions across front, middle, and back office, particularly around pricing, risk, and P&L. You’ll need to be able to quickly understand the physical commodities lifecycle and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and extend functionality in OpenLink / Endur (extensions, OpenComponents, reports, workflows)
• Configure and onboard new products within the ETRM system
• Implement solutions supporting trade capture, risk, P&L, and reporting
• Work closely with BAs and trading teams to translate requirements into Endur technical designs
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and enhance existing Endur functionality

Experience Required

• 7+ years of hands‑on C# development, specifically in .NET Core
• Exposure to working on OpenComponents or AVS is a bonus but not necessary
• Strong experience with performance optimisation and good logic within C#
• Previous experience in ETRM development, ideally across physical commodities, ideally gas and power
• Experience working in hybrid BA/Dev teams delivering trading solutions
