Base pay range

Foxley Talent are working with a growing SaaS company that’s building a powerful platform to help businesses manage employee shares and incentive plans. They are looking for a driven Senior Python/Django Developer in the UK to join their fully remote team and play a key role in the next phase of product growth.

This is a hands‑on role in a small but ambitious company solving real‑world problems in legal and financial workflows. The platform is already delivering meaningful value to clients, and there’s plenty of room for innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Writing backend Python code to build and enhance core product features
• Working across the full development lifecycle; planning, building, testing, and shipping software
• Contributing to the platform’s performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborating with a distributed team and supporting best practices at all times
• Handling sensitive data with care and contributing to QA efforts
• Sharing knowledge with peers and contributing to a strong team culture

What They’re Looking For

• Comfortable working with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Background in computer science or a proven record of delivering quality software
• Curious, proactive, and motivated to write great code and improve as a developer

• Git
• LaTeX
• Cybersecurity best practices
• Financial, legal, or compliance‑related tech

Location & Setup

The engineering team is fully remote, with the existing developers based in South Africa. This role is open to candidates based in the UK, or within 2 hours of UK time for strong candidates, especially where cost or experience makes this a good fit.

Compensation

• The company may go above the stated range for an exceptional candidate.
