Overview

This position is best suited for an individual who can find, develop, and nurture technical relationships with customers and prospects. It may involve evangelizing on a day‑to‑day basis in the integration space to audiences from C levels to developers. The evangelist should be technical, capable of driving and owning successful Proof of Concepts with prospects that involve Solace Technology and various SAP BTP services.

We are looking for a big‑picture thinker who is not afraid to pick up the phone, suggest ideas, and position solutions that benefit customers’ businesses—such as better customer experience, supply chain visibility, and on‑time delivery of goods.

Travel is required based on customer needs and may be global. The role works closely with sales to support customers technically, run presentations, trials, integrations, architecture design, and help develop new accounts.

Technical Requirements – SAP Ecosystem

• Experience within the SAP Ecosystem
• Experience with UI5
• Experience with Business Application Studio
• Experience with Business Process Automation
• Experience with Integration Suite, Cloud Integration

Candidates should be comfortable navigating and configuring the various services within the Business Technology Platform. A primary aspect is to help customers understand how applying event‑driven architecture to these services leads to greater agility and modularity.

Role Experience

• Undergraduate degree, ideally in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering; Master’s in Science, Business or Engineering an asset
• 8‑10 years of experience in technology, pre‑sales, or technical strategy consulting in the integration space
• Eligible to work in Europe without sponsorship

Desired Skills

• Ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences, from CTOs/CIOs to developers, and evangelize modern concepts to transform solutions.
• Solid presentation and white‑boarding skills; comfortable in a fast‑moving, dynamic environment with stakeholder engagement and technical leadership.
• Messaging middleware/integration knowledge (IBM MQ, TIBCO EMS/RV, Rabbit, ActiveMQ, etc.), understanding of SOA, JMS, AMQP, REST, JavaScript, MQTT.
• Enterprise integration patterns, solution architecture, digital patterns, lifecycle management, continuous integration.
• Domain knowledge in FSI, telecommunications, transportation, insurance, manufacturing.
• Application integration with Java, JavaScript, ESB/API tools, C++/C.
• Software development experience in Java or C++/C, SDKs, API integration.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, PaaS platforms.
• Industry knowledge in Cloud, IoT, Big Data, Digital, networking, and other top tech domains.
