We are seeking a PHP Developer to help us redefine the music industry. The company has invented a new technology to produce on-demand vinyl records and built a web platform for music creators to create and sell their products worldwide via our store at zero cost. We are working with the leading record labels, streaming services, digital service providers, distributors, and iconic global artists who are keen to partner with us to build a global solution for physical media. But most of all, we would also like to give small artists and artists at the beginning of their careers frictionless access to offer vinyl and CD to their fans via our innovative solution and planned production/fulfilment centres in Europe, USA and Asia.

The vinyl market has been growing on average more than 20% yearly over the last 16 years, and even CDs are growing for the first time in two decades. Over 30 million creators are releasing their music online today, and they are growing 30% a year. They represent the fastest-growing music segment. Most of them would like to have their music on vinyl or CD for their friends & family and especially their fans. elasticStage will provide them with easy and affordable access via its unique and scalable on-demand tech.

We are looking for a talented PHP Developer to join our Factory Software Team. You will play a key role in building, maintaining, and scaling the mission-critical systems that drive our factory operations. Using a modern tech stack including PHP, Laravel, Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and AWS, you'll help deliver highly reliable and performant solutions in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend services in PHP, with a focus on Laravel and PostgreSQL
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external services
• Collaborate with other developers and departments to meet business requirements and support ongoing projects
• Respond to ad hoc development needs with flexibility and speed
• Follow and promote PHP best practices, including security, performance, and code quality
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, continuously learning and applying new best practices in software development
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in PHP development, with strong knowledge of modern programming practices
• Hands-on expertise with Laravel framework and PostgreSQL database systems
• Proven ability to design and work with RESTful APIs
• Comfortable reacting to short-term requests and delivering under time pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to continuous learning and keeping up with current technologies
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong understanding of how software solutions can enhance the efficiency and workflows of a manufacturing environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with warehouse or factory management systems is a plus
• Familiarity with automation systems or industrial software solutions
