Overview
You should have a general practice background with good technical skills in auditing and accounts preparation. Your audit experience should be recent and up to date.
Responsibilities
- You will work with a wide diversity of business entities, mainly limited companies, across a range of sectors.
- You will be involved mainly in the preparation of statutory annual accounts and audit where appropriate, plus related compliance work such as Corporation Tax Returns and company secretarial matters.
- In addition you will have the opportunity to undertake ad-hoc assignments of a specialist nature as the opportunity arises.
- You will report on each assignment either to a manager or a director.
- We have a team of accounts/audit staff available to assist on assignments.
- Wherever possible we encourage the delegation of work to provide valuable practical training for junior colleagues.
