The Role
We are seeking lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels in the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach weekdays, evenings, and weekends is required.
Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met.
- Develop, update and improve course materials.
- Use a variety of learning and teaching methods.
- Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
- Stay updated with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
- Work towards student attendance, progression and satisfaction objectives.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable).
- Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
- Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
- Accurate record keeping.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working skills.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Desirable
- Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or ready to enrol in a teaching programme during the probationary period.
- Experience in design/development of academic or professional education programmes.
