Liaising internally with other departments regarding client matters
Key responsibilities include:
- contacting HMRC and other professional firms
- processing and filing quarterly VAT returns
- assisting team members
Personal and team responsibilities:
- working towards personal targets on a monthly basis
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
Requirements:
- experience with VAT preparation and bookkeeping is essential
- strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- thorough knowledge of making tax digital rules
- knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Quickbooks etc.
