A well-established, highly regarded boutique Lloyd’s Broker experiencing consistent growth is seeking to expand its Account Handling / Technical division to support Non-Marine Open Market placements.
This exciting role offer excellent progression opportunities and involves providing an effective technical and administrative support to Brokers within the division, ensuring accurate and timely servicing of clients and placement of risks into the Open Market.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Brokers and assist with ensuring smooth placement activities
- Prepare and quality MRC Slips and Endorsements
- Calculate premiums and process entries on the broking system.
- Produce cover notes, debit/credit notes and premium adjustments.
- Submit premiums to Velonetic/Xchanging and manage related queries.
- Maintain accurate records, diary management and statistical data.
- Handle technical queries, premium processing and claims support.
- Manage bureau and non-bureau market closings, minimising late signings.
- Respond promptly to client, insurer and third-party enquiries.
- Ensure documentation is issued within 30 days of attachment.
- Remain up to date with FCA requirements and market wordings.
About You
- 2-3 years + of London Market experience in a technical role
- Understanding of MRC Slips and Endorsements (either creating or checking slips - you could be a Processing Technician looking for the next step in your career)
- Strong attention to detail and solid communication skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
