Salary: £28,000 – £42,000 (depending on experience)

The Role

As a Semi-Senior or Senior in the General Practice team, your role will be varied and client-facing, including:

• Preparing year-end accounts for a wide range of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and sole traders
• Preparing corporate and personal tax computations
• Supporting with VAT returns and management accounts
• Assisting with bookkeeping duties where necessary
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong working relationships
• Supporting junior team members as needed
• Working closely with senior staff and partners to deliver high-quality service

About You

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• At least 2–4 years’ experience working in an accountancy practice
• Part-qualified or fully qualified AAT, or studying towards ACCA/ACA (qualified-by-experience also considered)
• Strong understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
• A positive attitude and the ability to manage multiple client deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
