Role: Business Analyst / Application Analyst

Project type: Mobile application access and security (cloud-based Workplace Health and Safety)

Location: Mostly remote + odd trip to London + Africa (Zambia) – any trips to Africa would be fully expensed

Duration: 2-3 months

Our Mining Industry client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Application Analyst with a analytical / technical background and has experience working with mobile applications & devices (Apple / Android).

The ideal candidate will have some experience in the mining sector, or technical experience around mobile app access and security and will be able to start immediately.

This role is expected to be split into 70% Analysis and 30% Delivery.

Key Requirements:

  • Understands Security protocols (SSL/TLS)
  • Experience working with mobile applications (Apple or Android)
  • Understanding of WiFi technologies & protocols
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory
  • Experience performing Technical Analysis around mobile application security & accessibility
  • Experience managing the Technical Delivery / roll-out of mobile apps
  • Experience in providing solution options (with pros and cons)
  • Experience of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) systems is desirable
  • Experience in INX InControl software is highly desirable
  • Experiencing in Mining is desirable
  • Experience in Workforce Management is desirable

Stakeholder & Communication Skills:

  • As the Business Analyst you will be the translator between business and IT
  • Excellent Stakeholder Management skills (multiple stakeholders in Australia, Africa and London).
  • Aligning product, engineering, operations, security, and leadership clear communication
  • Turning technical complexity into business-relevant language
