A leading UK insurer is strengthening its actuarial function and seeking a Reserving & Capital Actuary/Analyst to support key Solvency II, reserving, and capital initiatives.

This is a high-impact role working closely with senior stakeholders across finance, underwriting, and risk — helping shape decisions that underpin long-term financial stability.

The Role

• Support reserving, capital modelling, and Solvency II reporting across the business
• Contribute to SCR calculations, stress testing, and capital adequacy assessments
• Assist with AFR production and technical provision reviews
• Partner with finance, underwriting, and risk to deliver actionable insight

What We’re Looking For

• Actuarial experience in reserving, capital, or risk within GI with 3 years of experience
• Nearly qualified or qualified actuary (IFoA pathway preferred)
• Strong data, modelling, and analytical capability
• Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
