Overview

We are recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon to join the day team at a small animal veterinary hospital near the City of Doncaster in South Yorkshire.

Responsibilities

• excellent full time opportunity with hours worked on the hospital day rota (part time hours may also be considered)
• practice is a successful small animal hospital and is fully equipped with advanced medical technologies; CT scanner, rigid and flexible endoscopes, ultrasound etc.
• ideally you will already have at least 2 years + experience and be confident in handling routine surgical and medical cases.
• join a wider Hospital Vet team of 14 Vets offering a broad spectrum of services; first opinion, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, minimally invasive surgery, stem cell therapy, chemotherapy etc.
• this role is within the hospital first-opinion day team
• CPD allowance and professional development supported

Person Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
• Registered with the RCVS
• already have 2 years + experience in practice
• looking to join hospital first-opinion day team
