We a re looking for a passionate and experienced RGN/RMN Staff Nurse to join our team in a UK nursing home. Your role will be to provide exceptional care to our elderly residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medication and provide direct care and support to residents, communicating with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Manage and supervise care assistants and other nursing staff to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
  • Provide compassionate and person-centered care, following all policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records and update care plans as required, communicating any changes to other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Handle emergencies and unexpected situations that may arise during your shift, remaining calm and composed under pressure.

Requirements:

  • NMC registration as an RGN or RMN, with a valid PIN number.
  • Some experience working in a nursing home or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • A compassionate and caring attitude towards our elderly residents and their needs.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in changing situations.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with current best practices.
