Were looking for a Head Nurse to join a friendly independent team in Angus! Are you looking to take the next step in your veterinary career and become a Head Veterinary Nurse?
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day running of two clinical practices
- Implementing and maintaining practice protocols and standard operating procedures
- Stock control
- Overseeing the ordering of stock, equipment, and consumables
- Practice audits and inspections
- Liaising with industry reps
- Facilitating School and College work experience placements
- Facilitating Veterinary Student EMS placements
- Veterinary Equipment: Serving, repairs, legal framework, ie, X-rays, etc.
- Hosting Nurse Meetings alongside the Nursing Team Lead
- Supporting the Nursing Team Lead with Human Resources tasks
- Supporting the wider management team
Requirements
If youre a highly experienced veterinary nurse with a minimum of five years under your belt, a natural leader, and a heart brimming with compassion for animals, then we want to hear from you!
