RGN/RMN Staff Nurse Job in UK Nursing Home. We're seeking an experienced and compassionate RGN or RMN Staff Nurse to join our team in a UK nursing home. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our elderly residents and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to residents, including administering medication and communicating with healthcare professionals as necessary
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for each resident
- Supervise and manage care assistants and other nursing staff to ensure the best possible care for residents
- Follow all policies and procedures to provide person-centered care
- Maintain accurate records and update care plans as required
- Manage emergencies and situations that may arise during your shift
Requirements
- NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a nursing home or similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- A compassionate and caring attitude towards residents and their needs
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and needs
