This role supports the mission to protect national security through software applications developed in an Agile environment, enabling data collection, analysis, and information‑aware decision making. Reporting to the Lead UX Designer, you will lead small teams to deliver quality outcomes on projects prioritised in the roadmap.

Role Responsibilities

• Confidently explain and present design choices to varying audiences
• Create artefacts that support lean processes, including wireframes, prototypes, customer journey maps, testing, and research
• Lead the development of features, ensuring work is consistent with design aims
• Lead small teams and own delivery quality
• Facilitate workshops to boost collaboration within the project team
• Collaborate with Product Owners and project stakeholders to deliver the desired user experience

We Are Looking For

• A varied portfolio demonstrating design thinking and research/testing methods
• Some experience managing designers and project work
• Excellent communication skills to present ideas and provide feedback to the team
• Solid understanding of UX practices within software development
• Good understanding of accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design, or a willingness to learn

Security Clearance
