Base pay range

Salary: The starting salary is £38,926, which includes allowances totalling £2,928.

The salary is broken down as £35,998 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £38,523. Plus, a location allowance of £1,928 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

Location: Hendon, Sidcup, Westminster

3 days per week in the office split between the above locations

Job Summary:

As a Learning Programme Designer within the Learning Solutions team, you will design and deliver high-quality, impactful learning programmes that support leadership capability, operational effectiveness, and continuous professional development across the Metropolitan Police Service.

You will play a critical role in the design and delivery of learning within the Leadership Academy, shaping modern, scalable, and blended learning pathways for officers and staff at every rank.

Alongside this, you will contribute to the development of programmes across other priority areas including public safety, specialist crime, officer safety, first aid and organisational change.

Blending instructional design expertise with programme design capability, you will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), policy leads, delivery teams and digital designers to produce learning that is engaging, inclusive and aligned with national policing and organisational standards.
